The Rugby Guyd was founded by Allan du Toit, who leads the development of all training systems and programme structures. The Rugby Guyd operates as a performance-driven rugby development company dedicated to delivering high-quality, position-specific training solutions for athletes at every level of the game.
Our programmes are created in collaboration with elite players, coaches, and performance specialists to ensure each athlete receives practical, game-ready guidance rooted in professional standards.
Our mission is to provide clear, structured pathways that help rugby players build the technical skills, game understanding, and physical attributes required to excel on the field. Through comprehensive training systems, expert insights, and efficient digital delivery, we equip athletes with the tools they need to progress with confidence.
Programmes
Development is at the heart of everything we do. Providing players with the right skills, knowledge, and tools to perform on the field creates the foundation for every opportunity that follows.
Through collaboration with current professional rugby players, we give players access to insights from those who have successfully progressed through South Africa’s rugby pathway, from school rugby and provincial representation to the URC, international rugby, and the Springboks.
Their experience is invaluable, and our goal is to make that knowledge accessible to the next generation of players through structured, position-specific coaching, demonstrations, and performance-based development programmes.
Every player receives a shareable Google Drive profile containing a professionally designed player profile document and highlight video, created by The Rugby Guyd team.
A professional player profile has become an essential tool for players looking to create opportunities, particularly with schools, universities, academies, clubs, scouts, and recruiters abroad. It allows decision-makers to quickly understand your playing style, strengths, achievements, and potential.
Our team designs your profile and edits your highlight video to present your key attributes in a clear, professional, and engaging format—helping you make a strong first impression in the shortest possible time.
To date, we’ve helped players access opportunities with UK rugby academies, South African agencies, schools, scouts, and clubs.
We also support players pursuing opportunities to study and play rugby abroad currently.
We’ve worked with players competing at junior club level abroad, players selected for Grant Khomo Week and Craven Week, and players representing their respective countries at international level in the Nations Championship.

MARKETING & EXPOSURE
Our Player Marketing & Exposure service is designed for players looking to increase their visibility and establish their rugby profile.
If you are already represented by a player agency or management company, or are currently on a rugby scholarship programme, a Player Profile is not needed, as your exposure and player development are already being supported through your existing pathway.
We are committed to working alongside agencies, schools, universities and scholarship programmes, ensuring that all collaborations respect existing agreements while providing additional value through educational content, personal branding and collaborative opportunities where appropriate.
